This remarkable documentary tells the life story fo the Prophet Muhammad through his legacy as manifested in the lives of American Muslims today. This opening sequence from the film begins with footage fo the pilgrimage to Mecca, followed by authors such as Karen Armstrong and Michael Wolfe who speak from a historical perspective about the prophet's life, and profiles of a New York City firefighter, a Michigan nurse, a congressional staffer and several others who address the impact of Islam in their lives.
